About April

April's Mission

My mission is guided by a clear direction: Putting Holly families and community first, always. Every decision I make is weighed against what will keep our village strong, safe, and thriving, not just today, but for years to come.

Protecting Holly's Future

My commitment to public service comes from a belief that strong leadership begins with listening and ends with results. As Village President, I’ve worked tirelessly to protect Holly’s future while respecting the trust taxpayers have placed in me. I stand out by leading with transparency, protecting taxpayer dollars, and putting the people of Holly first, not politics.

Our story

Counseling and Compassion Shaping Leadership

Outside of public service, I am a counselor, supporting veterans, Gold Star families, and community members as they navigate life’s challenges. Since 2018, I have run a counseling practice specializing in veterans’ issues, anxiety, and trauma recovery. This work keeps me grounded and reminds me daily why listening, compassion, and resilience matter. My counseling background has also shaped how I lead: I believe in listening first, creating safe spaces for honest conversation, and helping people find solutions that keep our community strong.

April's Vision For Holly

My vision for Holly is rooted in protecting what makes our village special while preparing for the future with clear direction and responsible leadership. I believe Holly can grow stronger without losing the character and community spirit that define us.

April's Values

Holly is home to people with many different traditions and perspectives. My values may not come from the same place as everyone else’s. They are rooted in the same hopes: safety for our families, fairness in government, and pride in our hometown. I believe leadership means listening to all voices, treating every neighbor with dignity and respect, and being open and transparent in the decisions I make. No matter our differences, every choice I make is guided by a clear direction. That direction is to put Holly’s families and community first, always

April's Personal Touch

Public service is about more than budgets and policies. It is about people. My personal touch as Village President comes from being present, listening, and treating every resident with respect. That personal connection will always guide how I lead because Holly is not only where I serve. It is my home.
